RTÉRTÉ is a main media partner of Seachtain na Gaeilge and gives the festival support throughout the organisation.  As well as the regular Irish language programming that RTÉ produce through the year, tune in to hear Seachtain na Gaeilge being promoted and the huge amount of Irish being used throughout programming in both television, radio and online services.   Take a look here at RTÉ’s Seachtain na Gaeilge webpage that has links to all the programming as well as an Easy Irish language learning course to help you improve your Irish.

AN CÓR starting Monday 8th March on RTÉ 1:

Fiachna Ó Braonáin A new 4 part series on RTÉ broadcast during Seachtain na Gaeilge 2010 in which 6 choirs arrange and perform classic Irish songs from their childhood.   Presented by Fiachna O Braonáin (Hothouse Flowers) with Rónán Ó Snodaigh, Bláthnaid Ní Dhonnchadha & John Fitzpatrick on the judging panel. Starts on RTÉ 1 on Monday, 8th of March at 7.30pm.  Have a look at An Cór here.

RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta

Listen to a special podcast from the programme Glór Anoir for Seachtain na Gaeilge here:

During Seachtain na Gaeilge tune into all the programmes to hear information on Seachtain na Gaeilge events in the different regions including on Glór Anois everyday at 17.04, Iris Aniar at 09.08, Bharrscéalta at 11.02, and An Saol ó Dheas at 12.08.  Of course Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí will be also celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge on his programme Rónán Beo @ 3 at 15.00 from Monday to Friday.
