Culture Night 2010 in Irish!

06-09-2010

Culture Night is taking place nationwide on Friday 24th September and Seachtain na Gaeilge will be getting involved, as well as other Irish language organisations(listed on the timetable below). We had a fantastic Culture Night last year at 6 Harcourt Street and this year’s events promise plenty of fun and creativity!

Have you a passion for writing songs or poems?! Have you a love for music?! Seachtain na Gaeilge have organised a Music and Songwriting Workshop (free of charge) to celebrate Culture Night and we’re very excited about it! The well-respected and accomplished singer and musician Enda Reilly will be directing the workshop from 19:00 – 20:30 in the historical building of Conradh na Gaeilge. You don’t have to be fluent in Irish to take part, all levels of Irish are welcome and those with a real interest in writing songs! This a great opportunity to try out writing songs as Gaeilge and to meet other people who share the same interest. You can bring a guitar with you on the night if you like but emphasis will be placed song-writing.

Come and enjoy composing songs and singing as Gaeilge with Enda!

Contact us in the office on 01-4757401 or eolas@snag.ie before Thursday 23rd September to book your place!
